Cookie & Storage Policy

This policy explains how NanoMarketCap uses cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies.

1. What Are Cookies & Local Storage?

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Local storage is a browser feature that allows websites to store data locally on your device. Both are used to remember preferences and improve your experience.

2. What We Use

Functional Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the website to function properly:

  • NEXT_LOCALERemembers your language preference (set automatically by our internationalization framework)
  • themeRemembers your light/dark mode selection

Local Storage

We use browser local storage to persist your display preferences:

  • xno-market-primary-fiatYour primary fiat currency (default: USD)
  • xno-market-secondary-fiatYour secondary fiat currency (default: EUR)
  • xno-market-cryptoYour crypto reference currency (default: bitcoin)
  • xno-parity-fiat-currenciesParity page fiat selection (default: USD, EUR)

3. Third‑Party Cookies

We do not set any third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. The following embedded content, loaded only with your consent, may set cookies under its own domain:

  • Nanswap iframe — The swap widget on the Swap to Nano page loads content from nanswap.com, which may set its own cookies. The widget is only loaded after you explicitly consent to it.

Fonts are self-hosted via Next.js font optimization and do not involve any third-party cookies or external requests.

4. No Tracking Cookies

We do not use any analytics services (Google Analytics, etc.), advertising networks, or behavioral tracking technologies. No fingerprinting or cross-site tracking is performed.

5. Managing Your Preferences

You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings:

  • Clear cookies — Most browsers allow you to delete cookies through Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data
  • Clear local storage — Open your browser's developer tools (F12) → Application tab → Local Storage → Clear
  • Block cookies — You can configure your browser to block all or specific cookies, though this may affect site functionality

6. Retention Periods

Functional cookies persist until you clear them or they expire. Local storage data persists until you clear it manually. We do not set any expiration on local storage items — they remain until removed by you or your browser.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if we introduce new technologies or change how we use existing ones. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
